Paul works with fund and wealth managers, superannuation funds and asset servicing organisations to assess their operating capabilities and designing and implementing target models to support their business and/or regulatory needs. He specialises in operational productivity, efficiency, risk and tax. Before co-founding KONU in 2019, Paul was the COO of State Street, Australia. With more than 25 years of experience, Paul is well practiced in leading operational change, delivering operational improvement and enhancing the operational risk environment.
Greig has over 24 years' experience specialising in op model design and leading the execution of strategic transformation programs. Prior to co-founding KONU in 2019, Greig headed Operations, Change and Risk functions in funds managers, wealth managers, superannuation funds, asset servicers and retail banks. Within his roles, Greig was responsible for setting & delivering strategy, transforming businesses, uplifting capabilities and managing & supporting people on the day to day and the change journey.
An experienced C-suite executive in global investment managers and asset servicing businesses as well as over 15 years in professional services at Partner level (Morse, Deloitte, Ashurst and now KONU), Philip has a rich history of advising investment managers, wealth managers and superannuation funds regarding operationally scaling their businesses, reducing operational risk, and improving their cost to income ratio.
Former COO of AMP Capital Public Markets and a highly regarded professional working within investment and wealth management for over 24 years. As an experienced senior executive across operations, technology & product he is passionate in the pursuit of opportunities to transform businesses, better foster technology, improve client outcomes, and define the roadmap to a new future state that supports growth in an efficient, sustainable way.
Brett specialises in providing strategic advice to fund managers, wealth managers and superannuation funds, with a specific focus on business design, product and distribution strategies. As a former CEO of abrdn Australia, Director of the Financial Services Council (FSC) and Chair of the FSC Funds Management Board Committee with 30 years’ experience in the investment industry, Brett is well versed in roles from back office to front office and leadership. Highly experienced in the development, execution, and oversight of strategy at all levels of an investment business - corporate, investment, product, distribution, operations, risk, and people/culture. Brett has a strong track record in managing organisational change and in the development of new and innovative products and services.
David works with investment managers and asset owners across wealth and superannuation, managing business integration, operating model assessment/design and implementation. With over 25 years of experience in investment and wealth management, the majority of that time in senior positions, David possesses a deep understanding of the end-to-end functions supporting asset owners, investment and wealth managers.
Niall has 20 years’ extensive experience in both Program and Project Management including all project lifecycle deliverables (budgets, governance, controls, reporting, change management, scheduling and senior stakeholder management) within the investment and wealth management industry. Niall specialises in IT programs, transformation and business migration (acquisition and divestment).
Gillian specialises in advising investment & wealth managers and superannuation funds regarding the operational scaling of their businesses, reduction of operational risk, and implementation of operational best practices. With over 15 years’ experience across London, Hong Kong and Sydney, Gillian has a strong record of working with alternative and private markets (Goldman Sachs Prime Brokerage, BNY Mellon Alternative Investment Services) and investment manager operations (Australian Retirement Trust).
Nick has over 30 years' experience working in the UK and Asia Pacific in wealth and funds management. For the last 10 years, Nick has focussed on the use of data and technology as key business enablers in Target Operating Model design, product development and business migration (acquisition and divestment).
Shaun works primarily within funds management and superannuation sectors, up to executive level, focused on market risk, investment risk & investment operations. With 25 years of experience, Shaun’s focused on helping clients implement major product rationalisation, transition and restructure programs.
Sheamus is an experienced funds and wealth professional with an extensive knowledge of back office and middle office operations developed through more than 30 years in the industry. Sheamus specialises in design and execution of Target Operating Model, business migration (acquisition and divestment), and regulatory reform and remediation, helping businesses to reduce operational risk and implement operational best practices.
With extensive portfolio management experience, having originated, developed, and managed successful funds and investment products across multiple jurisdictions, Lachlan focuses on providing front office investment strategy, investment risk analysis, foreign exchange management, product strategy, development, marketing and rationalisation to the asset management and wealth management sectors.
Morgan has over 15 years of Project Management/Portfolio PMO Manager experience encompassing both project lifecycle deliverables (budgets, governance, controls, reporting, change management, scheduling, and senior stakeholder management) and facilitating Agile Project Management (Scrum framework, rituals, removing impediments to the Scrum Team). An experienced Agile coach supporting teams and individuals in the adoption of agile practices, methodology and ways of working.
